U zavisnosti od vrste tkanine, pamuk i poliester mogu biti u različitom odnosu.
Poliester je izdržljiv, elastičan i otporan na gužvanje za razliku od pamuka,
tako da je radna odeća proizvedena od diolena izdržljiva i ne mora da se pegla.
Sa druge strane, pamuk daje mekoću i komfor pri nošenju takve radne odeće.

Organskim pamukom naziva se pamuk proizveden od biljke koja nije genetski modifikovana,

Osim što ovakva proizvodnja umanjuje štetni uticaj na okolinu, ona podstiče biološki ciklus.
Cena organskog pamuka iz godine u godinu opada što je dobra vest za razvoj i uvećanje
rasprostranjenosti ove industrije.
Preduslov za proizvodnju organskog pamuka jeste organska zemlja koja je prošla kroz
trogodišnje čišćenje od veštačkih supstanci.
Odevni predmeti u svom sastavu moraju imati 95% organskog pamuka kako bi bili prihvaćeni kao
proizvodi sa organiskim sastavom. Dozvoljeno je da 5% sastava bude od boje prirodnog porekla,
čipke, elastina i drugih materijala.

Viskoza je prijatan materijal, pogodan za osetljivu kožu, otporan na bakterije.
Preporučujemo ga, jer ne izaziva alergijske reakcije, ne skuplja grinje i ne
stvara statički elektricitet. Viskoza propušta vazduh, ima prirodno hladan i
svilenkasti opip, pa je veoma prijatna za nošenje, naročito leti.
Iako viskozno vlakno najčešće porede sa pamukom, jer je po tekstilnim osobinama
slično pamuku, ono je tanje, mekše, finije i ima niži stepen rastegljivosti.
